July’s meeting
On July 13 Keeper of Seasons Hall will read Laxdale Saga from the beginning to section/chapter 33. This will be a two-parter. A link to a free version will be down below. As a general reading tip, The Sagas of Icelanders by Jane Smiley, Amazon link below, has a good genealogy which is useful to have bookmarked while reading. While not necessary, it’s nice to have a genealogy because much of the action derives from family dynamics intercepting after a few generations.
