March 2025 Monthly Meeting (3/9/25): Freyja

Keeper of Seasons Hall will meet online via Discord on March 9 to discuss Freyja. The discussion will begin around 5:30 PM. Because entire books can and have been written about her, we will focus on certain aspects of the Vanadis and the worship of her in modern times. As we get closer to the date of the meeting, I will share a link to a Google Doc to help guide the discussion as well as a link to Keeper of Seasons Hall on Discord. For persons interested in some of the research that has been done so far, I highly recommend Britt-Mari Nasstrom's Freyja: The Great Goddess of the North. It was originally published in 1995 and makes heavy use of Dumezil's tripartite theory, which can be off-putting to some, but it remains one of the most comprehensive collections of information to date about Freyja written in English. Also, persons who enjoy animated music videos about mythology are encouraged to check out Pascu and Rodri of Destripando la Historia.
