For our October meeting we will be reading and discussing Hávamál (Old Norse: “Sayings of the High One [Odin]”), a collection of 164 stanzas of aphorisms, homely wisdom, counsels, and magic charms that are ascribed to the Norse god Odin. We will aim to meet at Frontier on the 2nd Sunday of the month (10/10/2021) with the primary discussion / public portion of the meeting starting around 5:30 PM.

For those who might be interested, Jackson Crawford did a rendering/translation of the Gestatháttr section of the poem in a modern voice that he calls the Cowboy Havamal. It's available both as videos and as written text at https://jacksonwcrawford.com/the-cowboy-havamal/
