October 12 meeting, Laxdale Saga continued

For October Keeper of Seasons Hall will be finishing Laxdale Saga. We left off on chapter 55. As always, meeting starts at 5:30 for the general public. We will be holding the meeting online via discord. Linked below. A free version of the saga is also down below as well as other information.

As a general reading tip, The Sagas of Icelanders by Jane Smiley, Amazon link below, has a good genealogy which is useful to have bookmarked while reading. While not necessary, it’s nice to have a genealogy because much of the action derives from family dynamics intercepting after a few generations.

We will read from chapter 30 to 55. And continue on with part three not next month, but the month after that.
